Public Domain, the Commons and Open Access

This page summarizes the activities that the Center performed in the field of digital public domain, open licenses and other commons (in particular, immaterial commons in the online environment). A specific focus concerns the contributions of the Center to the drafting of the 4.0 version of the CC licenses. Open Access to scientific information is furthermore a research and policy-support thread whose importance is supposed to grow in the future, also in light of the involvement of the Center in the recently approved PASTEUR4OA European coordination action, that will provide us additional resources and links.
