Intern 2013
Fiorenza Oppici is a programmer holding both a bachelor and a master degree in Cinema and Media Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino University. In 2013 she started an internship at Nexa Center for Internet & Society as a front end developer for the Neubot project. Starting from April 2013 she helped the freelance researcher Giovanni Arata writing the Facebook data collection algorithms for his research project #SocialPA. Since her interest in both technical and societal aspects of social media, she carried out Nexa Center’s SocialUniversity research project, which was set up from professor Juan Carlos De Martin as a complete overview of social media strategies and behavior on behalf of italian universities. She graduated in December 2013 with a master thesis based on her findings. At the present moment she works as a javascript developer at a small startup web agency.
