Fellow 2010-2019

Simone (@bassosimone on Twitter and GitHub, sbs on IRC) has been a Research Fellow at Nexa Center since 2010. He completed his PhD in 2014 under supervision of prof. De Martin. His main research interest is measuring the internet from the edges with active means. During his PhD he developed and now maintains Neubot, a tool to measure internet performance. He contributes to MeasurementKit (a network measurement library for mobile and embedded devices) and OONI (a tool to measure internet censorship).
