Eleonora Bassi


Senior Research Fellow

Eleonora Bassi holds a Degree in Law (cum laude) and a PhD in Philosophy of Law and Legal Theory (University of Turin, Law School). She has postdoc research experience (at the Law Department of the University of Torino, and at Computer Science Department of the University of Trento) in Information Law and Privacy Law and in Open data legal framework and policies. Currently, her research at the Nexa Center follows two main directions. First, the focus is on the new European Data Protection framework that will have a strong impact on privacy rights in digital environments and the circulation of personal data within the information market, including collaborative ecosystems. Second, her work is on policy-oriented research on Open Data, Big Data and IoT.
