Nicola Bottero is a practicing lawyer with a degree in Law from the University of Turin with a thesis on comparative law. He also graduated in the Intellectual property Specialization Course jointly organized by the University of Turin and the WIPO Academy. On top of practicing private law, industrial law and commercial law, he works with the Chairs of Commercial and Industrial Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Turin. He also teaches industrial law within some master degrees. He has been a member of the working group of Creative Commons Italy since its beginnings in 2003.
