PhD Student
Giacomo Fantino is a PhD candidate at the Nexa Center for Internet & Society as part of the Italian National PhD programme in Artificial Intelligence. His research focuses on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, and Open Science, with particular attention to the application of AI techniques to research software to support Open Science practices and implement FAIR principles. He is supervised by Prof. Antonio Vetrò, Prof. Marco Torchiano, and Prof. Federica Cappelluti, and collaborates with the Centro Studi Open Science. He holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, from the Polytechnic University of Turin.
