Alessandra Quarta is an Associate Professor of Private Law at the University of Turin. With a strong focus on property law and contract law, her research explores themes related to commons, urban regeneration, and the legal frameworks of digital markets. She has been the coordinator of the H2020 Generative European Commons Living Lab and a tutor of a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action. She published Non-proprietà. Teoria e prassi dell’accesso ai beni (2016); The Turning Point in Private Law. Ecology, Technology, and the Commons (with U. Mattei); Mercati senza scambi. Le metamorfosi del contratto nel capitalismo della sorveglianza (2020), and several articles in scientific journals. She is preparing the second edition of the handbook Diritto privato dei mercati digitali (with G. Smorto, forthcoming).
