Yael M. Resnick is an associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Technology & IP Transactions practice. Yael counsels clients on a range of technology and IP matters, such as technology development and licensing agreements, digital distribution agreements, strategic collaboration and alliance agreements and professional services and support agreements. She also counsels clients on the technology and IP aspects of M&A transactions, including related IP licensing agreements.
Yael received her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, with high honors, from Brandeis University. While in law school, Yael was an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology and the Harvard Human Rights Journal, as well as a research assistant for Professor William Fisher on copyright matters. Yael was also a summer intern at the NEXA Center for Internet & Society at the Politecnico di Torino, in Turin, Italy, and IViR, Institute for Information Law, at the University of Amsterdam, where she researched U.S., E.U. and international intellectual property law matters in collaboration with the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.
